Since a week ago I got calf pain, I immediately saw a doctor and my he gave me some pain killer and I got rid of pain. But now I lost my sensation of smell and taste which is very worrisome. I am unable to taste my food and smell of a duadrant. Kindly suggest me a treatment. Thanking you in anticipation

Don't worry.Do you had fever and sore throat in previous days?
this is one of the symptom of covid 19. you just cannot ignore it these days as the virus is spreading fastly in our region.so isolate yourself for next 10 days.go for covid pcr testing if possible.as the virus washout your symptoms will be relieved at their own no need of medication.

I already am observing isolation. But Alhamdolillah I don't have any fever or cough. Does this senselessness of taste and smell occur when you take anti nerve aching medication?

yes many drugs also effect the sense of smell and taste but it depends upon the type or category of drug you are taking..

Right now I am not taking any medicines but I took some anti nerve aching medicine for my calf pain which is completely fine now

that could be a side effect of medicine bt in today's pandemic situation we think for covid first.and secondly you have used that medication for a short period of time and symptoms appeared after few days of stopping it.so best is to practice isolation for the next 10 days to keep other people safe around u.if symptoms subsides u can break the isolation after 10 days bt still u will have to take the precautions.in case of fever,cough or sob immediately consult any Dr..

Do you have any fever, cough, headache, nose blockage, runny nose or throat itch or shortnesa of breath with it?

I had a seasonal flu last days but now I am completely aright other than this smell and taste disorder.

It is possible that you are not contagious at this stage, but before getting out of isolation get a pcr for covid done.

u gonna get rid of such condition in a coupl of days
this's one of the side effect so dont worry
isolate ur self for 10 to 14 days
in b/w if u feel any fever diahrroea flu cough or soreness in throat report us immediately ok.
start taking steam twice a day this would eventually active ur sensations do 10 to 15 min early morning walk daily ok.

They could be two different issues. Have your pain subsided? or is it persistent?
Loss of smell and taste can be due to nasal blockage or sore throat.
You should go for Covid test. Isolate yourself protect your family members.
go for covid19 test
since u mentioned u visited a doctor and after that u have complaints of loss of taste and smell...so isolate urself and get ur covid test done.

Sometime it occur due to use of heavy painkiller and high dose antibiotic
This is not serious issue like anosmia, hyposmia etc
