Hi My mother have keloids on her ears because of piercing. I want to get my nose pierced, can I get it or are there any chances that keloid will form? What can I do to prevented them?
your mother can excise Keloids by some surgeon. or may take injection kenacort intralesion by some doctor.
It's not sensory that you will get keloids after piercing you nose.
But personally I don't like a pierced nose.
recurrence of keloids is not a rare thing. so you try intra lesion steroid (inj Kenacort) will be the best one.

Get it done from a surgeon . They have air care of hygiene and sterilization of instruments used. To prevent it you need to go to proper authentic place where tools are properly sterilized .
The chances of an individual to develop keloids depend upon many factors . Yes it do depend on the genes but its not like that you will 100% get a keloid after nose piercing . Get your nose pierced from a good setup with good antiseptic measures
