Talk to General Practitioner on Covid Patient After Isolation Tests And How We Knw Abt Recovery
Asking For Mother, Female 65, karachi ,Pakistan
on 12th aug my mother wss hospitalized in emergency due to high fever , severe chest pain, and weakness.. after test she is being diagnosed covid +ve ... after giving some IV she was prescribed to be admitted to isolation centre .. but we insisted Drs that we will recover our mother at home and ee bring her at home ? Drs given her oral medictions which includes deltracortal (2) ,azomax(1) ,panadol(2) ... after having these medicines she is geting better day by day Alhamdulillah .... and after 7 dayz Dr repeated the tablets .. as we cant take our mother out of quarantine . so her 14 dayz are completed and she us alhamdulillah fine.. kindly do tell me what test should be done?
You can go for covid 19 antibodies IgG IgM
How many tablets of deltacortil is she taking now?

yes alhamdulillah she is normal now ... but we are little bit scared ... bcoz kids at home are desperately waiting for my mother room to be opened .. and they want to get inside the room ... how can i sanitize the room .. to make it safe for the kids snd other family members ..btw i use to keep on dettol spray and washing the floor with dottel every day .. and keep on changing bedsheets after 2 days .. plus after 7 days whn my mother was a littlr normalized she took 2 baths aswell ...

Yes you need to disinfect all the surfaces and things inside the room.. you may use dettol, that's perfectly fine.. but everything needs to be cleaned properly

actually after looking at her symptoms ... i realized that i wss the career bcoz of whom my mother was covid positive ... i am u 1st one who was covid positive ... im fine alhamdulillah. and taking care of my mother ... staying with her in an isolation in the same room ... bciz in the begining she cant b able to walk properly due to high fever and weakness

sorry i for got to mention about Ascard tablet .. dr prescribed her along with other tablets ... ... she is already a BP patient and was taking Tenormin 50mg and Rovista 10 mg on daily basis ..
My question is that k ascard ,deltracortal,azomax kab tak leni hai ... ?
You can stop azomax and reduce the dose of deltacortil. Take deltacortil 2 tabs twice a day for 2 days and then 1 tablet twice a day for 2 days and then 1 tablet once a day for 2 days and then stop it.
She can continue taking aspirin for a month.

If she is fine now... Then no need for any test.... According to latest American guidelines we do not need any test if we get better after 14 days.... All old guidelines say that we should do test.... So no need for any test.

today is her 13th day of isolation and yes she is still taking all tablets ... will gradually decrease the dose of dectracortall and will give ascard till one month as prescribed by marham Drs ... Azomax 3 days thn 2 dayz gap thn agin 3 dayz .. is tarha lee hai ...

if she was on deltacortil for more than 7 days, it needs to be gradually reduced. deltacortil should not be stopped at once if patient has taken it for longer than 7 days.

Continue her BP Medication as already prescribed. Reduce Deltacorti Gradually. Get a Covid Antibody Test. Add Multivitamins and Calcium VitD Supplements too. 14 to 21 Days should be symptoms free. No need to get a PCR Done.
