Asking For Father, Male 55, Lahore
These are blood reports of my father. Recently he was diagnosed with 400 sugar. Now after two hours of eating his sugar is 244 Are these test reports fine? My father excercise alot. He is a non smoker. We are waiting for HBA1C.

He needs to strictly control his Sugar Levels. Also his Triglycerides are a bit elevated too but that can be corrected without Medication, proper diet Monitoring & Regular exercise. Looking at his BSL his HbA1c might come out as Poor Diabetic Control if he is a Diagnosed DM Patient.

You check his fasting sugar share hbA1c report and medication is he takes any sweets?

Either he is a diagnosed diabetic or he should be already one. However he needs his medication adjusted because current medication are not helpful. Dietary modifications are required too.

Reports are fine, will see the HBA1c report as well. Initially your father has to try controlling blood sugar with diet, exercise and continuous monitoring fasting and random sugar levels.
Is he taking cholesterol lowering medication ? Check his fasting blood sugar. He needs proper follow up. Kindly visit your GP doctor or book online consultation for proper history and follow up.
Also check Blood Sugar Fasting. Share hba1c report with any of the doctors and keep follow ups.
His TG and VLDL are raised. Could you pleae tell us your father’s weight and height? Does he have high bp or something else?

Thanks for sharing ur concern.Triglycerides which is a type of cholesterol is a bit high. sugar level 244 after meal is still very high. It should be below 140. Which medication has he started ? And is he following an appropriate sugar friendly diet plan ?
