Aoa I wanted to ask about something for my hubby, He is 30 years old have bp and is over weighted from some days I am noticing severe swelling on his feet the upper side of feet actually , can anyone tell me what is it ? And what can we do to decrease it ? attaching picture

It is called edema (means water at abnormal location)
Cause
Most likely Heart Failure due blood pressure or heart muscle weakness (cardiomyopathy)
Other expected causes that may lead to such swelling
kidney or liver not working
protein deficiency in body
What to do?
For diagnosis
Echocardiography (most important)
other tests
RFTs for kidney
LFTs for liver
Treatment
1. Decrease salt intake to minimum
2. Liquid intake 1-2 liter/day
3. Tablet LASIX 20mg once in morning
4. Check BP, It should be below 130/80 mm Hg and above 90/60 mm Hg
