Talk to General Physician on Sugar Levels In GD
Asking For Self, Female 24, karachi
i was advised to record my blood sugar levels. fasting and 2 hours after breakfast, lunch, dinner. are these sugar levels fine or dangerous?
Should i immediately take appointment for starting medication? or is diet control working for me currently?
I am very tense because of few numbers in this chart. Are my sugar level dangerously high and nees medicine?
its all with in normal range dont worry do a HbA1c this is best for this purpose
FBS shd be less than 95gm/dl. and blood sugar after 2 hours of meal shd be up to 120. if strict diet control and physical walk not achieve this .you should visit consultant

most of the time 2 hours after meal test is under 120. Only 3 times it has been over. Is that dangerous for the fetus or mother?

need close monitoring ..do HbA1c .(it shows last 3month sugar status.) it shd be up to 6
if there are frequent raised reading or raised Hb A1c than visit consultant .

in my OGTT report, my 1 hour after glucose level was over the range. previous glucose and 2 hours after glucose levels were in range.
My gyne told me to record my sugar levels and do diet control. I have been doing that and above is my Record. i want to know are these numbers fine? normal or do i actually have gestational diabetes and should i go for medicine?
