Symptoms may be migraine or cluster headaches or just tension headache. She has also been diagnosed as hypertensive. She needs to consult a neurologist. She also needs blood tests( kidney function tests, full blood count, liver function tests), ECG , BP chart with blood pressure readings taken over a period of 2 or 3 weeks at home when she is resting. Examination of Optic fundi ( fundoscopy) which can be performed by a qualified optician but preferably by an ophthalmologist.
