Asking For Self, Female, 30 Years old, Islamabad

I had difficulty in walking for 1 month when I was 17 yrs old after which I was diagnosed with rheumatic fever... I was asked to take penicillin injection course for the next 5 yrs which I completed... I am 30 yrs old now and I am having backache whenever I am standing for 10 mins or more...Is it related with arthritis or something else.. I want to know that what other treatment, test or precautions should I do for rheumatic fever?? What is the difference between rheumatic fever & rheumatic arthritis?

Internal Medicine Specialist in Rawalpindi - Dr. Muhammad Imran Saeed

U r diagnosed with both diseases which I got from ur statement and currently having back pain especially after standing for short period. So RF and RA are different diseases affecting different age groups n different treatments and long term preventable complications. Backache can b due to any musculoskeletal problem so basically requires a thorough specific history to reach accurate diagnosis n then management.
