Talk to General Physician on Numb Thumb After Cut

Assalam o Alaikum! My thumb got stabbed by knife today. My concern is that I'm feeling numbness above the wound till my thumbnail. I went to ER at night but they didn't check it properly and said it's normal and gave a tetanus inj and asked to apply polyfex only. I'm worried if any sensory nerve is damaged as I'm not feeling anything even if I'm pressing hard with my nail. If it's not something to worry about then when will this numbness end? Can't post pic of the wound as it's not allowed but the knife only pierced the skin and went in about 1 cm diagonally.
wait after healing if still this numbness persist see a physician although if numbness persist its treatment is a little difficult but it can be temporary also.

most probably you injured some peripheral nerves and just wait and see as it maybe ok after few days. if it persists even doctors can not do much for it as it is superficial very tiny nerve. use Surbex T one tablet per day
