Talk to General Physician on Lipids
Asking for Self, Male, 23 years old, Karachi
Hi Mam these were the result of full lipids at that time. But my question is. Is there any mistake in these numbers? Because my HDL was 37, LDL was 113 and Triglycerides were 198. Now the question is cholesterol is what I have read on internet Cholesterol = HDL(37) + LDL(113) + Triglycerides(198/5) = 190. But in my report it is written as 239. So it an error.

First of all this test is performed after 11-13 hrs of fasting.
Second cholesterol ,hdl,Ldl these are all different forms of lipids that's
y test is called fasting lipid profile not cholesterol profile
