my daughter was diagnosed with high hemoglobin 19.6, hemotacit 59 and RBC 6.99. we are repeating her test every month. her hb is now 18.6 and hemotacit 54. her secondary conditions for polycythemia has been ruled out and she is tested negative for jak2 mutation. how long does hb levels take time to get back to normal.
have she seen by haematologist?
She should remain under observation by a haematologit/,oncologist.She should take loperin tab 75 mg daily .She has to monitored with blood CBC every month till RBC count and hematocrit settles down.Onlg time will tejo long.
The failure of Jak 2 mutation in being detected seems reassuring for the time being.
Keel her BP checked off and on.
