Asking for Mother, Female, 52 years old, Johar Karachi
My mother 52 years old known case of Htn since 9 years. Changed drugs 4 years back to coaproval 300/12.5mg and norvasc 5mg. Since few days her bp is fluctuating and elevated to 140/100 130/95 etc. Normal only after talking meds for a while.. feels v little sob and chest heaviness once in a while when shes constantly working then walks a little or climbs stairs. Should I take to doctor on Friday noon or Saturday morning. Got her cbc fbs hba1c and lipid profile done today. Results awarding. Any help would b much appreciated
She needs checkup from Physician/ cardiologist as her treatment needs review in view of the latest results. may need Echocardiography to look for the cardiac status.
she is co aproval . this medicine is only given for short term or i kidney failure. this medicine causes dehydration. fatigue. because of salt deficiency. change her medicine tab valtac AM 80/5 mg.
Check her BP and note it down with time for 7 days and then consult a medical specialist. Also ensure that she is taking het medication regularly. An ECG should also be done.
Is she Diabetic,, Get her ECG, Fasting Lipid Profile, Creatinine and Electrolytes done. Need to know her BP Chart if maintained and Pulse?? Can follow me at North Nazimabad in my Clinic.
