Asking for Self, Male, 29 years old, Lahore
I just wanted to know should i take medicine or not, my normal blood pressure comes between systolic 125-140 and diastolic 85-100. My weight is 92 & Height 5 ft. 2 inch.
I dont feel anything.

What does it mean Dr. (Secondary causes of Hypertension). What should i do and what action should be taken?

There are 2 types of hypertensions, One type is age related and there is no cause for that (Called Essential Hypertension), Second type is early onset hypertension and is secondary to some other causes for (Thus called secondary hypertension) that include hormone disorders, kidney disorders, heart disorders, use of medicines etc.

A home BP reading of more than 135/85 and clinic reading of more than 140/90 on more than one occasions is sufficient to make a diagnosis of hypertension.You should cut down on your salt intake, do physical activity 30 minutes daily and monitor your BP twice a day.Please visit with your BP record of atleast two weeks so that proper evaluation can be done and if needed some lab test can be carrried out.
