Asking for Self, Male, 50 years old, Lahore
I am having heart problems for the last two years. Symptoms typically range from chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath, sweaty palms/feet, dizziness, nausea and general weakness. Not all symptoms happen every time. Symptoms occur when my Testosterone levels rise (DHT in particular) or Estradiol levels go down. I have done ECG several times, Stress tests twice and Echo cardiogram twice. All of them have were fine with no problems but note that the stress tests and Echo were done when I was not experiencing any symptoms. My own theory is that there is blockage in my arteries but in normal conditions it is not enough to cause any problems, however, when I take something that lowers estrogen or increases DHT my arteries constrict (Estradiol is a known vasodilator) and that is when I get moderate to severe symptoms. Please let me know what is the best course of action? Should I get a CT scan or is there a better test for this?
first consult some psychiatrist and discuss your state with him.
visit cardiologist...for ECG, holder, angio echo ...
don't believe in ur own theory..

What exactly have I asserted that contradicts established facts?
Looks like you are ignorant of the role of hormones on cardiovascular disease.
