Assalam o alaekum. Thank you so much for responding. The query is for my father and he has been feeling very weak due to the fever hence he hasn't stepped out of the house. Therefore there have been no blood tests either. He has however complained many time of having a burning in his eyes and under his feet so much that he asked me to rub 'jorjat ka kapra' on the sole of his feet so he would get some relief.

Yes there has been common symptoms of cough and flu. If you're referring to 'balgham' by sputum then yes that is also the case

Better to get his blood test done?
to find out cause of fever rather then to start treatment blindly.
