Aslam o alaikum! plz tell me what does hb F value mean??? what kind of disase if it is more than normal range...below is my husband report plz tell me why hb F value is much high???
please send me his CBC picture complete blood count.
Common man just C Hb value,a Haematologist evolve its cause ,v further hsve kinds of it like A B .....So The best advice is to consult a HAEMATOLOGIST.
why ? directly what are the symptoms. it shows some hemoglobinopathy or thalesemia trait. history of cousin marriage?

actually i m married for 15 months and note able to conceive.... everything is normal...my follicles r healthy....my dr suggested me this test and my hbA2 value was below than normal range...phr de nay bola k apny husband ka b ye test karayen agar unki value zayda ai to hamen agay or treatment karna paray ga... conceive krny k liye ye report ka bola tha dr ny

Needs proper history to comment properly
Hb F normally high in fetal life but if it is high in adults we should suspect thalassemia
May be due to other causes but need proper history and family history

there is no family history of thalassemia....my husband is also fit and healthy alhamdulillah.... should we repeat the test????

It indicates thelesemia,if your husband is in blood relation then,you also be tested otherwise your kids may thelasemic,currently no need of any medicine for your husband only precautions.

what r the risk factors of thalasemia....should my husband take proper treatment...he is my cousin but my reports show normal level of hb F but my hbA2 is below normal range

when ever you conceive must take openion,because your coming baby me be effected due to thelsemia,your husband is OK .only do that precaution.

one of the dr told me it is a sign of sickle cell anemia and we should consult hematologist immediately....
