Asking for Mother, Female, 50 years old, Karachi Pakistan
My mother had some problem like stiffness and pain in lower right side of abdomen under the rib cage. It went away a week after but then again started and went away. Now she can feel some lump inside and the area of abdomen is swollen. Can anyone tell whats the issue?

Is there only swelling or are there any other symptoms as well for example nuasea, vomiting etc

this may be a symptom of gall stone, or gall bladder infection or a upper urinary tract infection. she needs an ultrasound abdomen to rule out .
