Asking for Husband, Male, 33 years old, Karachi

My husband suffered H.pylori about 4 years back. We got his tests done last year but it was in control. However, he is always constipated and has gastric issues. Can you please advise a solution?

Did he take the triple therapy , Repeat the H pylori breath test or get a h pylori test done from stool. Get this done , for constipation give him a high fiber diet - what other gastric issues does he hav can u explain , u can giv him lactalose 30 ml every morning that will help for his constipation, contstipation is a long term issue good idea to do thyroid function tests.

He got TSH and stool tests done too. All were normal. But now he has persistent constipation and gastric issues loke excessive gas buildup and bloating.

Also, can we have duphalac on a daily basis for chronic constipation? I too have suffered anal fissure after childbirth and the constipation is still there 7 months pp. If I don't have duphalac, I get constipation and the fissure activates. We are extremely busy individuals and don't get enough time to watch our diet. We rat whatever is available.

Repeat the H pylori antigen test by stool or do the breath test - start with fybogel or Metamucil powder 1 tablespoons BID increase water intake walk daily eat more fiber - salad and fruits don’t eat foods that constipates you eat figs they help - your fissure will probably need surgery regards
