Talk to Gastroenterologist on IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME

Is there a cure for IBS? I have been diagnosed recently. All the medicines here are just suppressing the symptoms. Not treating underlying cause. I might have SIBO as it happened after food poisoning. My symptoms are bloating, belching and pain in rig cage left and right and sometimes pain in descending colon. I live in US and have most of the tests done. e.g, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, CT Scan, Ultrasound, Stool tests, Blood works etc. Most of the doctors here are telling to just manage the symptoms as they can't treat IBS.
Please don't reply if you are going to say the same things its not treatable etc.
