Talk to Gastroenterologist on Hpylori Positive
Asking for Self, Female, 27 years old, Lahore
AOA. I had low grade fever(99-100) from 2 days.also frequent burping,indigestion for which i did h pylori test.which came out to be positive. I'm a breastfeeding mother of a 5 months old.I wan't to know can i pass it to my baby via breastfeeding? And what is its treatment?

Actually blood test for h pylori isnt good to tell about the current infection.
you need to get a stool test for it.

Fever needs to be probed first.H pylori infection wont cause fever.Do u have any other symptom?And get ur stool antigen for H pylori to see the active H pylori infection.
