Talk to Gastroenterologist on Hepatitis B Prventive Vaccine
Asking for Self, Male, 30 years old, Lahore
I completed engirex b course about six months ago. I asked the laboratory to perform "HBV surface antibody titer test" as recommended by a doctor but laboratory people do not understand the which test is it. They say pcr, or somethonh elese. Please guide me what i need to tell the laboratory about the test name.
This test is not done by every lab. You need to go to Agha Khan lab or Shaukat Khanam lab and tell them to do Anti HBs antibody test.

Anti hb s antibodies levels
AntiHBs levels are checked after 2 months of last vaccination dose for hepatitis b. please get this test done from chugtai shoukat khanum or agha khan lab. if results show levels more than 10 mIU/ml then you have developed immunity to Hepatitis B and celebrate it. Thanks
