Aoa dr I have persistent abdominal pain for few months it does not go away after passing stool I done h pylori , Lfts , that was negative stool D/R showed occasionally wbc only , what is the disease I fed up of this abdominal pain which test is required for diagnose disease?

Dr in whole abdomen and can’t go away after passing stool , no it’s not food related bcoz I am not use any spicy or oily food bcoz of abdomen pain

Hello. I can understand it must be terrible for you to have abodminal pain for so long. Well wbc in stool is relatively non specific finding that can occur if someone has inflammation in bowel. There is long list of problems which can cause chronic abdominal pain; ulcerative colitis, crohns disease, irritable bowel syndorme, functional abdominal pain syndrome just to name a few. Empiric investigation and empiric treatment without history is not a cost effective option. I want you should provide more about your problem which can help us to diagnose the problem before embarking on treatmrnt plan.

Ok.well the history has to be very elaborative before I can comment on diagnosis. If you want then you can get following test
SERUM amylase and lipase
serum calcium
stool for calprotectin
fecal elastase level
Ultrasound abdomen pelvis and plus KUB
Get these tests done. and also share reports that you previously had.
Will discuss the plan of action after review your investigation.
