Talk to Eye Specialist on Cataract Surgery
Asking For Father, Male 70, DHA
My father aged 70 has to get his cataract surgery done. He is shortsighted, his one eye is lazy whereas the other one has cataract. He is going to get MICS for the eye with cataract. The doctor has given has two options for lenses both from Alcon, one is a Alcon Multipiece and the other is Alcon IQ. We are confused between the two lens options to pick, I would appreciate guidance here on the selection of a lens appropriate to his age and needs.

number 1 . go for phaco instead of sics.
number 2 lens option is better discussed after getting a proper examination.

Doctor, my father wasn't given a prescription. He went in for his usual eye check up where the doctor told him that his cataract is now ready for MICS. Can you please suggest what should be done now.
