My son had a stapedectomy surgery on his left ear on 3rd November and he still can't hear on his left ear.Can it take longer than two months to start hearing after stapedectomy?

There is immediate improvement in hearing after stapedectomy. If there is no improvement then there is something wrong.

He is 31 years old.He had the same surgery done on his right ear one year back and he could start hearing after two months

Usually stapedectomy gives immediate hearing restoration. Please seek advise from the surgeon who operated

The surgen is a renowned practitioner and has many years of experience and according to him we should give it more time.There was bleeding at the time of surgery because the patient was off warfarin for two days.There are no symptoms of vertigo as well.
I am desperate to find a solution for my son to live a quality life.

Sorry for delayed reply,Stapedectomy should restore hearing immediately.Its better to get hearing test first
