Asking For Self, Male, 34 Years old, Pakistan
History of Orchidectomy (both testis removed), History of Germ cell tumours, Pure seminoma. I’ve been recommended for TRT (Testosterone replacement therapy) even though my urologist told me there is a risk of Prostate cancer & Heart attack after getting therapy. Please give me fair advise if I really have to go on HRT/TRT? Or can i improve my T levels with diet or any supplements? If i must go on TRT what are the pros & cons? Kind Regards.
Yes. You do need testosterone replacement. Need updates hormone profile
You need TRT as not taking it would not only have negative impact on your libido but also would cause early Osteoporosis.
as for prostate cancer and heart attack, you should get a baseline PSA ( prostate specific antigen) and fasting lipid profile.

Thank you for ur reply Sir, I’m highly concerned about its side effects as i am already focusing on reducing chances of any recurrence or any other serious diseases. Please acknowledge me about its long term or short term side effects? How long do i need to get this therapy, is it for the rest of my life? Should i be worried about any other effects of this therapy before or after treatment? May be i m worrying too much, i have 2 daughters, a wife & mother depended on me. Need your expert opinion as earlier. Kind Regards..
