29 Female Medical history: Left thyroid lobectomy + cystectomy + parathyroidectomy (accidental finding) Biopsy: Benign cyst + water clear cell thyroid adenoma Immunohistochemistry: report attached - PTH was high ... started decreasing from 218-110 Then increased again to 127 Dr said its secondary hyperparathyroidism Medication: - Sunny D 200,000IU every 15 days for 3 months - Kalsob 1 daily. Please tell me about the report.

The attached report shows parathyroid adenoma, not thyroid one. Also they have written that previous lab had received 2 fragments of tissue, not thyroid gland.

I think you need to sit down with your surgeon and discuss your case.

It is possible that PTH was initially high due to parathyroid adenoma.
