Likely has neuropathy ( nerve damage) , needs to look for causes (other than diabetes - such as B12 deficiency) - if no other reversible cause is found then control of diabetes and certain meds ( such as Pregabalin) can be prescribed.

Hi,
your mom is developing neuropathy because of DM.
she needs to be assessed properly, such patients also develop vascular issues. pl get her assessed in clinic.

I keep my patients fasting and random glucose levels between 80-100 at fasting and around 120-130 random. I do not believe in high sugar levels not do i believe in bombarding them with insulin shots. As for her feet, I don't think its diabetic nureopathy ..... start her to walk, and watsapp her HBA1C report
