I have severe bppv from 6 months.there is little ringing in my right ear but does not hurt.however vertigo become severe on lying down and by Changing head position.l can't stand properly on my feet. I also having ear washed as prescribed by ENT and taking setspin( betahistine dichloride) tablets but nothing works.l am student and it really affect my daily life.kindly give me some solution.

Do you also have Headaches along with vertigo.
Any other issues besides VERTIGO,Any history of Ear Infection, head Trauma...

Sometime there is headache. l also removed ear wax some days ago and sometimes ringing in my right ear..There is numbness in my legs also and l loss my balance on feet.l feel severe lightheaded on changing head position.

I have this problem from 5 months .l have also use betahistine tablets for about month but there is little improvement.l feel lightheaded all time .

They said it is positional vertigo due to ear infection .l also ear washed but it doesn't work .

do complete bed rest
take tab serc for it.
also get a physiotherapy for vertigo for 2 to 4 days and it will be settled out.
