Talk to Dermatologist on Topical Steroids
Asking for Self, Female, 28 years old, lhr
I just want to ask that how long use of topical steroids on face is harmful ...means if a patient with eczema uses low potency topical steroids say 0.1 % seldom just when flare ups ....is it OK ???or if not then what should be followed during falre ups as just moisturisers are not enough during flare ups..
Literature suggests to take a break after 7 days but if you really need and its low potency i think using them for few more days wont cause harm

Any steroid of any potency has harmful effects when used for long-term.
Use Vaseline or petroleum jelly or emolients
