Asking For Wife, Female 40, islamabad
my wife creates a problem on her right hand pointing finger. that finger have a small cut like creates and seems redness in the cut while that area around the cut looks rough. she visited to skin specialist and advised by the doctor that it is skin allergy may be due to water during washing pots. so used betasalic ointment mixed with lacticare lotion. but no results. kindly sujjested some medicines after looking the picture attached please.

please book a consultation. it seems to be skin allergy. change the washing powder and soap. please get her gloves to wear during washing up. apply bepanthen cream twice daily. moisturize hands . give the finger time to heal. keep it dry and clean.

Plz apply loads of vaselline on this finger. Use gloves while washing dishes n cutting garlic etc. Avoid all antibacterial soaps n detergents. Try to visit me in person at clinic n I'll see what else can help her improve.

Dear pt, it needs a detailed consult so can guide abt Do and Don't! plus you need correct dose and topicals. won't suggest such aggressive stuff. Regards
For now just apply vaseline on it and every time you do washing sovthat condition does not worsen. And for medicine which you were using wrong one book appointment thru marham and get properly checked and treated.
