I have a derma roller (0.5 mm) which I want to use for my acne scars and pores. What are the pros and cons I should be aware of and what precautions should I be taking before and after using it? I also want to ask about the precautions to prevent acne breakouts. My case of acne is not that bad, I seldom have breakouts but they have become more frequent in past few months. Can coffee or cheese be triggering them? Because i have experienced breakouts a few times after i have consumed these things. How can i prevent this from happening in the future?

first u should discuss it with a dermatologist if u need this treatment or not
I think you should ask these questions about the dermaroller from the doctor who advised you to use it. He is the best person to guide you.
Secondly since you are still breaking acne, you must have your acne treated first. Treatment of scars comes later.
