My sister has hand eczema and for 2-3 days it is aggravated and there is pus and severe pain and discomfort. Can any dermatologist please recommend something for this condition. Thank you
This couldn’t have happened in 3 days. It may have worsened in 3 days. Looks like an Infected Irritant type of eczema perhaps due to excessive handling of soaps and detergents. It will be lot better if she visits my clinic for evaluation and treatment.
She can take any of the anti-itching tablets. This will not only relieve itching but also pain to an extent. Tablets like Tandigyl etc. However for the treatment and maintenance of the eczema, I must see the lesions in person.
