It’s a fixed drug eruption caused by reaction to certain drugs. You should knows the drugs which cause this and have to avoid those drugs in the future. Usually hyperpigmentation stays longer and faded it away itself. If the pigmented patch is dry and itchy we can use mild corticosteroid cream. For cosmetic purpose can be resolve with laser.

The condition is called Fixed Drug Eruption. You are allergic to not only to that particular medicine that brought it on the first time, but you will get it if you took any medicine from that particular group of medicine
Treatment is to strictly avoid that whole group of medicine during your entire life. This IS the treatment.
