Talk to Dermatologist on Scabies Problem

My niece has got scabies and the doctor has prescribed permethrin lotion for 3 nights along with other medicines. According to my knowledge only once application of permethrin is enough and can be repeated after 1 week. Can any doctor please guide if permethrin can be applied daily for 3 nights?
