Talk to Dermatologist on Excessive Hair

i have a lot of hair on my body. they are not thick hair like man but they are very excessive. on face, neck, chest, stomach, back. its very prominent. i know laser is an option. but is having such prominent hair common for woman? they are very visible. more than peach fuzz but less than manly thick hairs. plz tell me what could be the causes. is it my hormones? i am overall very hairy
