i got my upper jaw braces only yet with a bite block and i have started to feel sensitivity and nerve pain in my lower front tooth. i have consulted my orthodontist and he applied something to it but it is not effective.

Usually during ortho treatment teeth become sensitive and they require extra care during the treatment. Why don't you try using mouthwash and use sensodyne for 2 weeks 2 times a day. And see if you have any plaque or debris stacked behind your teeth
Yes you can but you said it's sensitivity which is not treated by panadol

oh so can you suggest any medication.
also its painful to even drink room temp water so it hurts if i brush my teeth

Just apply small amount of sensodyne to that specific teeth and it will be painfull for first few times but will het better and if possible please send me picture of your teeth with appliance on ... and its fixed appliance?

And if you have an xray please send that as well . And if pain is unbearable take the panadol or brufin which ever suits you

Aoa, if you have braces in upper teeth only then there should not be sensitivity in lower front teeth, you should use sensodyne for sensitivity for 15 days.
