I had been dealing with the mouth ulcers ever since I was approximately 10 years old and have consulted every type of specialist and have used every cream/gel and multivitamin. It all started when I went to the dentist to get some of my teeth pulled out. Before attempting to pull the teeth out, the doctor used some kind of anesthetic and after the procedure was done, I got cuts as I chewed the gums unknowingly while the anesthetic's effect was still present. I then started taking milo, which increased the frequency. I then took the matter into my own hands and started taking the sunny D tablets (2 lacks) once a month and this time, I was successful in reducing the frequency. I have been ulcers free for almost 5 to 6 months but suddenly I got viral gastroenteritis so I started taking Rennie (chewable peppermint tablets) which led to mouth ulcers. I may add that I might be allergic to peppermint. It is rather unusual for me to have mouth ulcers due to stomach as I have been taking cof

Dear it's very common to have mouth ulcers due to GIT disturbances or sometimes it could be a reaction to any particular medicine as well you need to be very careful while taking any kind of med. if you have GIT issue get that treated first. try to have but C or folic acid tablets that helps alot. I still suggest consult your GP first

The thing is I had gastroesophageal reflux since I was a child and I have been to a lot of gastroenterologists but the medicines they prescribe affect my ulcers in a negative way. Gaviscon and proton pump inhibitors are a kind of enemy for my ulcers.

I had my CBC done approximately a month ago and the results were normal but I will definitely get other tests you suggested done as soon as possible
